Where are Natrodale products stocked?
Natrodale is stocked at Clicks, Dis-chem, Pick ‘n’ Pay Hypermarket pharmacies, Wellness Warehouse, leading pharmacies and health shops. You can also ask your local pharmacy to order a product directly from us, even if they do not normally stock it.
 

Can I give Natrodale Omega 3 & 6 capsules to my child?
You can give Natrodale Omega 3 & 6 capsules to children from the age of 12 years. However, you could give it to children under this age, if you halve the adult dosage for children 6 and over.
However, it might be better to use Natrodale’s newly launched product Omega 3 Baby. This is a well-balanced formula that is ideal for small children 6 months and over. The capsules are in a handy snip-off shape, so it is easy to squeeze the contents onto food, and the oil has been de-odourised, and a tasty natural lemon flavour added. So, even the most fussy eaters will take their brain food!
 

I’ve heard that fish oils can contain dangerous toxins, how do I know Natrodale fish oils are safe for me to use?
All Natrodale’s Fish oil supplements, including Omega 3 1000 mg, Omega 3 Baby, Omega 3 Omega 6, Omega 3, 6 & 9, Neptune Krill Oil, and Cod Liver Oil are tested to be safe. They are free from toxic heavy metals (lead and mercury), which are tested for by independent laboratories. They are also free from artificial colours and flavours, preservatives, lactose, gluten and added yeast.

Natrodale adheres to International Manufacturing and Quality standards (GMP), which means all products are manufactured in accordance with strict international guidelines for pharmaceutical quality supplements.

We have decided to add this information to the new Natrodale packaging. You will see our Purity Certified logo, which indicates that the product is tested for heavy metals and pesticides. All our fish oil products are only sourced from the best raw material suppliers. Independent testing shows that the content of heavy metals and pesticides are below detectable levels (in other words, there is so little in the samples that it doesn’t even show up on tests). It is normal for foodstuffs to contain very small quantities of these elements.
 

My husband, who is 43 years old, was told by his doctor that he has a slightly raised cholesterol. He is trying to cut down on his “beer and braaivleis” rations, but what else can he do to help reduce the cholesterol?

I would like to take Natrodale Dolomite, but I am not totally sure what it is for.

Natrodale Dolomite contains 375mg Dolomite, with 80mg Calcium, 48mg Magnesium and 30iu Vitamin D per tablet. This is a balanced natural source of these two important minerals, which are essential for healthy bones, teeth and nails. In addition, these minerals are essential for good nerve-muscle connections (which is why many people take it for twitching muscles), functioning of heart muscles and for effective function of the nervous system, particularly when coping with stress.
The Vitamin D is added, as this vitamin is essential for proper absorption of Calcium and Magnesium.

It is best to take any Calcium and Magnesium supplement, such as Dolomite, in the evening. It is better absorbed at this time, and can help you to sleep (hence the Old Wives’ Tale of drinking a glass of warm milk before bedtime – milk is rich in Calcium and Magnesium!).

Remember, if you are taking Iron tablets, do not take these together with your Dolomite, as Calcium can inhibit the absorption of Iron.
